Sea Freight

Sea freight is the best way to send big whilst keeping costs small. This service is ideal for house moves or transporting large equipment or commercial items.

We offer duty paid sea freight service to the following countries:

Malawi sea freight

£3 per kg; 10-14 weeks transit time (estimated); minimum 40 kg

Zimbabwe sea freight

£3.75 per kg; 10-12 week transit time (estimated); minimum 50 kg

Kenya sea freight

£3.50 per kg; £25 handling fee per box; 8 week transit time (estimated); minimum 20 kg

Nigeria sea freight

Lagos City: 20kgs for £60; £2.90 a kg after with a £12 handling fee / Outside Lagos City: 20 kgs for £85; £3.50 per kg after with a £15 handling fee

Tanzania sea freight

£4.25 per kg; £30 handling fee per box; 8 week transit time (estimated); minimum 20 kg

India sea freight

Within Gujarat: £2.40 per kg / Outside Gujarat: £3.40 per kg; 10-14 weeks transit time (estimated); minimum 20 kg; must be sent in sacks

Pakistan sea freight

£2.25 per kg; arrival in 10-14 weeks (estimated); minimum 20kg; must be sent in sacks

Barrels:

Barrels are perfect to send on any of our sea freight services as they offer security that’s simply incomparable to a box, waterproofing goods more effectively than a box. They’re great for unloading too, as they can are cylindrical and can be rolled on or off – so much easier to unload and transport than a 50 kg box! Our barrel services include duty paid sea freight to any of the countries above, uncleared to the Caribbean, West Indies and Jamaica and practically any other country in the world.

We can also drop off and collect barrels within Leicester or nationwide.

How do I get my items in to you?

Sending with Apex couldn’t be easier. There are a few options on getting your items in to us:

Shop and ship with our Purchasing and Mailbox services;

Arrange a collection with our own Apex driver within Leicestershire or from anywhere in the UK via our DHL service (you must have access to a printer for the DHL service);

Drop your items off at our warehouse or office.
